Update – 4G & Possible Interference to Freeview Reception

O2 and Vodafone announced the launch of their 4G operations in London on 29th August 2013.

There are some early indications that the reach from the telephone masts could impact Communal reception up to five hundred metres away.  To date it is difficult to assess the range of signal strength from those masts that have now been converted.

If you or your clients experience any issues with the Freeview signal, we would urge you to contact us so that we can help you through the issue.

We would recommend taking a pro-active approach and have a communal filter fitted.  The filters we fit not only act as a first line of defence against 4G interfernce, but will also allow and protect the additional Freeview channels which are scheduled to be launched, within the next two years.

For further information and how to ‘stay ahead of the game’ please visit our 4G webpage or contact us directly.
